The dress she wore at the Tejano Music Awards 1994, was a store bought, I know because Shania Twain wore the same dress, but without the fullness Selena had.
The bottom of it was tulle which was asymmetrical cut, that I think started at the bottom of the knee and ended at the ankles. Not to mention I saw that dress at the museum as well, and it's beautiful. The second and last appearance at the Grammys 1995 where she should've won a Grammy for her "Amor" album she looked ever so beautiful in. Selena's Grammy dress that she wore in 94 made another appearance in "No Me Queda Mas" video, GORGEOUS I might add, the detailing which I got the privilege to see up close and in person at her museum was amazing. There are few who can wear an extremely short dress or a skimpy dress and make it look hip and cool without looking like a skank, of course I'm talking about my girl, J.Lo who does this so effortlessly, where, Jennifer is sexy-glam, Selena is sexy-classy. She never wore anything that was too tight, or skimpy looking. I always said she looked like Cinderella, the dress was form fitting at the top, hugged her curves and flowed beautifully. I think the most famous dress of hers was the Grammy dress, which is just so beautiful.
She just didn't know what she had, but she also wore dresses with such class and glam. She tended to wear a lot of long ankle length dresses due to her leg complex. Selena wasn't much of a dress kind girl, although I think she would've been had she lived longer. So yesterday (Day 27) we talked about her skirts, now we're going to talk about dresses.
